Beadings.

To those who'll be having engagement or solemnization... I am sure that most of you would love to choose chiffons, etc. as your dress's materials. It'll be gorgeous if you add up some beadings on the fabric. When I was looking for beading works, a friend of mine suggests me Patternz.

The picture was taken from their Raya 2010 Design Collection. You can browse more for the designs or you can ask for your own design. I think that the price is affordable since the work is also pretty. You can see their pricing here. I was thinking of sending my baju kurung for some touch up. Hahaha.

Hugs and Kisses,
Nana.

Songket Wedding Gown.

All picture source are from Google.

As you can see, songket is one of the most fabulous Malaysian fabric heritage. Thats why I'll proudly choose songket to be the material for my wedding.

But the question is, Is it possible to wear a songket wedding gown?

I do admire this type of wedding gown.
I was thinking of combining songket
as the one of the dress's material
along with other material.
It should be white + silver songket.

I think I would love to wear a gown since it is possible for a muslimah to wear a gown nowadays. It should look really great especially to those who were having the reception in a hall or having a night reception. Still, this is just one of my dream. This is not a definite choice for the dress as I still have a long way to go until my wedding. *I still need opinions from ibunda, etc.*

Gosh ! These muslimah looks gorgeous with their dresses.
and yeah, I guess this idea came from the east countries.

p/s: I might change my mind later. I can't wait to know what'll be final choice.

Its the bouquet again !

Great news ! Do you still remember the fun, amazing bouquet on my previous entry? If you don't remember or haven't read it yet, you can read it here. So, the news is.. I managed to found out that the bouquet was called as Brooch Bouquet. It seems that this bouquet was very popular among overseas brides.

and, it is great to know that... You can DIY this bouquet.

I haven't tried it yet. But as I read the instructions, it seems that the steps are similar with other hand bouquet's instruction. There are also some complicated step, of course.

Here's some other picture of the Brooch Bouquet.

Maybe they just available overseas. Still, I think I'll find a way on how to DIY this bouquet. I don't plan of using it for my engagement... Its just for the sake of fun. But still, I will have to wait for my semester holiday to experiment on it. Guess, I'll update later on the project once I have completed it.
